"I could see we let our guard down in the third set," coach Ogino says

![](https://files.readme.io/027b603-image.png) OK Financial Group head coach Massa Ogino (54) had no smile on his face as he booked an 88.9 percent chance of reaching the championship match. The disappointment of not being able to decide the match with a set score of 2-0 remained. OK Financial Group defeated Woori Card 3-2 (25-20, 25-19, 22-25, 21-25, 15-11) in the first round of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League Men's Postseason Playoffs (best-of-three) at Jangchung Gymnasium in Jung-gu, Seoul, on Wednesday. This gives OK Financial Group an 88.9% chance of qualifying after starting the regular season in third place. In the past, the first-round winner of the V-League Men's Playoffs has advanced to the championship game 16 out of 18 times. It was a nail-biter. While Woori Card focused on stopping Leonardo Leyva (34-registered as Leo) in the first set, Shin Seong-jin (23) was on fire. By the second set, he had a whopping 80 percent attack success rate. But Woori Card, the second-ranked team in the regular season, showed a strong backbone. In the third and fourth sets, they found their stride by utilizing a variety of attackers. Gradually, they blocked Leo's attacks, and domestic attackers such as Kim Ji-han and Song Myung-geun came to life, pushing the match to a fifth set. However, Woori Card had to worry about their stamina as they played two full-set matches in a row, following their semi-final win over Hyundai Capital on the 17th. After the game, Ogino regretted this aspect. When asked by the press, "It must be hard to play two full sets in a row," Ogino said, "It's the players' fault. I could see that they let their guard down in the third set. Their facial expressions were different," he criticized. "It's not the first time this has happened this season. It happened three or four times and we didn't play very well from then on. Our players are still immature in this area. We're going to talk about it strongly tomorrow (Nov. 24)," he added. But that was the end of the bitterness. The team regrouped and came back to the game, winning the fifth set 15-11 with a comfortable margin. The team received a lot of praise for their signal jin, who played the role of the main gun in place of Leo, who had a poor attack success rate on the day. "Shin did a good job," said Ogino. I think they were in great shape," Ogino said. "We made a mistake on our first offense. I pointed it out and it was corrected on the next play. He's a good player that once you give him an instruction, he gives you an answer. He must have been under a lot of pressure today, but he did a good job." "We practice harder than we play," she said, "but we've been managing our schedule well since we started the V-League, so I think we'll be fine. I believe that the players will manage well in time for the match tomorrow (25th) at 7:00 p.m. Also, the substitutes have made good progress and we are a one-man team, so I think we can show winning volleyball together." At the end of the interview, Ogino seemed to have more praise in store. "Has OK changed a little bit?" he asked the press, before adding, "I think we need to be a little bit better than last year. Everyone is working hard. Please give me lots of praise," and left the interview room with a smile. <https://www.totopick.pro>

Daehyun pushed back by Kim Min-jae criticized "Defensive line detail lacking + positioning questionable" Lack of sophistication pointed out

Japan is questioning the skills of Kim Min-jae (28-Bayern Munich). "Is South Korean defender Kim Min-jae overrated?" asked Japan's "The World Magazine" on the 23rd, introducing a recent interview with former Inter Milan defensive legend Giuseppe Bergomi, who gave Kim Min-jae a harsh review. According to the Italian newspaper Calcio Mercato on the 22nd, Bergomi said, "Kim Min-jae is not suitable for the center back position of the Nerazzurri. He doesn't have the charisma to command the defense. In this position, he will struggle." "Of course, Kim Min-Jae is a reliable player. He played for Napoli, so he knows Serie A well. But you need different abilities in that position. Inter play a different tactic than Napoli in the back line. I wouldn't choose Kim Min-Jae in the center of the back three, he's more suited to the right back position, but we already have Vincent Pavard and Jan Aurel Bisek," he said. 'The World Magazine' agreed. "Kim Min-jae is a center back with great individual ability, and he was in charge of the last line at Napoli. However, his playing order has been strange in Munich lately. The duo of Eric Dier and Matthijs de Ligt have been prioritized, and Kim's place in the starting lineup is not guaranteed." "It's a bit harsh, but Kim doesn't look like a player who can lead the final defense well. He is strong in man-to-man defense and impressive in both ground ball and aerial ball competition. However, his detailed defensive line setup and positioning are questionable." Kim Min-Jae has been left out of the starting lineup for four of the last five games. It started in the 23rd round against Leipzig. Dier-De Ligt started the game and Kim came on in the final minutes of the match, playing around nine minutes. He returned to the starting lineup against Leipzig in Round 24 and picked up his first league assist, but was again left out of the starting lineup for the UEFA Champions League (UCL) match against Lazio. Against Mainz in round 25, he started from the bench and played around 15 minutes before being replaced by Dyer in the second half. He was on the bench again against Darmstadt the previous day. Meanwhile, Kim Min-jae is part of the South Korea A squad led by interim head coach Hwang Sun-hong for the March A-match period. On March 21, he started and played the full match against Thailand in the third match of the second Asian qualifying round for the FIFA Confederations Cup North America 2026, but the match ended in a 1-1 draw despite South Korea scoring the opening goal. South Korea will travel to Thailand on June 26 for the fourth match of the tournament. Kim Min-jae will return to Munich after the match. It will be interesting to see if he can regain his starting spot after returning to Munich. <https://www.oncasinosite.net>

'Ryu Hyun-jin caught' LG bows his head at the plate, out of respect

![](https://files.readme.io/52a57f4-image.png) "We thought a lot about it." On the day Ryu Hyun-jin (Hanwha Eagles) returned to the KBO after a 4,188-day absence, LG's players were thinking about how to play the game and how to welcome him. The result of their deliberations was a greeting. In the top of the first inning, Park Hae-min took off his helmet and bowed to Ryu. After the game, which ended in an 8-2 victory for the LG Twins, Park said, "We thought a lot about it. What should I do, because (Oh) Ji-hwan, (Kim) Hyun-soo, (Park) Dong-won, and (Ryu) Hyun-jin came back to shine for Korea, and I'm the leadoff hitter, so I decided to say hello." When San Diego Padres special advisor Park Chan-ho returned to Korea in a Hanwha uniform in 2012, current NC coach Lee Jong-wook, who batted first for the Doosan Bears against Hanwha on April 12, greeted Park and welcomed the "Korean Express" back to Korea. Thirteen years later, Ryu Hyun-jin received a respectful greeting from the opposing team. If Chan Ho Park made history as the first Korean major leaguer, Ryu Hyun-jin added another page to the book as the best major leaguer to come out of the KBO. Since returning to Korea, Ryu has accomplished so much in the United States and Canada that it's safe to say he's never missed the major leagues. Even if he didn't win a championship, he made it to the World Series and was the Opening Day starter. He also had the honor of starting the All-Star Game. In 2019, he led the major leagues in ERA (2.32) and finished second in the National League Cy Young Award voting. For Ryu, the LG players prepared for the opening game with both a competitive spirit and respect. Park Hae-min, who greeted Ryu, said, "We said to him, 'Thank you for your hard work, thank you for shining for our country,' and we all said it together to show our respect." They gave it their all in the game. LG scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth inning against Ryu Hyun-jin, capitalizing on six hits and three walks. The runs were unearned due to an error, but LG was clearly a different team. This wasn't the same LG that Ryu had beaten with 22 wins, the most in the KBO. On the one hand, Ryu's pitches were different. Of the 86 pitches he threw, 31 were balls. It's certainly unusual for Ryu to record three strikeouts in a game. Still, Ryu is Ryu is Ryu. The LG batters in the opening game kept things tight until the end. Park Hae-min, who hit the go-ahead RBI single in the fourth inning, said, "I have so many pitches, so it's not just fastballs that I throw from the end of the plate to the end of the plate. When I saw him throw a curve slider and a changeup against left-handed hitters, I realized that he's a really great pitcher." Hong Chang-ki, who added an RBI single in the fourth inning, said, "It was tricky because he had good control. His pitches were quick and slow, then suddenly fast and slow, so it was hard to get the timing right." Shin Min-jae, who hit an RBI double in the first inning, said, "He had a good fastball, so I tried to hit it in a fast count. He said he only had a 2% changeup for left-handed hitters, so I only thought of two pitches, a fastball and a curveball." <https://www.sportstoto.link>

'Seoul derby won'...Seoul Eland advances to Korea Cup 3R after penalty shootout

![](https://files.readme.io/1b3a600-image.png) Seoul Eland defeated Daejeon Corail in a thrilling penalty shootout in the second round of the Hana Bank Korea Cup 2024 at the Daejeon World Cup Stadium Auxiliary Stadium on Wednesday. This marks the second 'Seoul Derby' in history. Seoul Eland will host FC Seoul in the third round of the Korea Cup on the evening of April 17th. The inaugural Seoul Derby took place in the third round of the 2021 FA Cup, where Seoul Eland defeated FC Seoul 1-0. Seoul Eland tried to change things up with a number of players who hadn't played this season. Cha Seung-hyun, Shin Seung-hyun, Kim Min-kyu, and Hwang Tae-hyun formed the back four, with Seo Jae-min, Park Chang-hwan, and Lee Sang-min in the middle, and Cho Young-kwang, Kim Gum-yeol, and Chang Jun in the back three. Lee Ki-hyun was in goal. In the first half, Seoul Eland was unable to break through the opponent's defense and failed to record any effective shots. In the second half, Seoul Eland tried to turn the tide by subbing in Park Jun-young and Jang Seok-hoon for Shin Seong-ho and Seo Jae-min. In the 14th minute, Seoul Eland managed to clear a free kick from the opponent, and Jang Seok-hoon and Chang Jun took turns threatening shots from the left and right flanks. However, in the 24th minute, they conceded the lead when Kim Byung-oh fired a left-footed mid-range shot from the top of the arc. Seoul Eland regrouped and scored a valuable equalizer in the 36th minute through substitute Kim Jae-yeol. Kim collected a ball from Hwang Tae-hyun on the right side and calmly slotted home a right-footed shot from the edge of the box to level the match. Seoul Eland calmly converted all five kickers in the penalty shootout to secure a 5-3 victory over Daejeon Korail, who missed their second kick. After the match, Seoul Eland head coach Kim Do-gyun said, "The players who haven't played before did their best. We got the result, but we also showed that we were not good enough. I think the players who played today need to grow a little more so that we can play the league more solidly." "It's a league game, and we're facing FC Seoul at home, so we'll keep an open mind and prepare for various situations," he added. <https://www.majortotosite.top>

The Seoul Derby will be held on April 17th

Seoul E-Land FC won a thrilling victory over Daejeon Korail after a penalty shootout in the second round of the 2024 Hana Bank Korea Cup held at the auxiliary stadium of Daejeon World Cup Stadium on the 23rd. This marks the second "Seoul derby" in history. Seoul E-Land FC will invite FC Seoul home in the third round of the Korea Cup on the evening of April 17. In the first Seoul derby held in the third round of the FA Cup in 2021, Seoul E-Land FC won 1-0 over FC Seoul. Seoul E-Land FC tried to make changes by putting in a large number of players who did not play this season. With Cha Seung-hyun, Shinsegae, Kim Min-kyu and Hwang Tae-hyun forming a four-back, Seo Jae-min, Park Chang-hwan and Lee Sang-min were placed in the midfield, while Cho Young-kwang, Kang Min-yeol and Byun Kyung-joon played as three-top. Lee Ki-hyun kept the goal. In the first half, he rarely penetrated the opponent's defense and failed to score an effective shot. In the second half, Seoul E-Land FC tried to change the atmosphere by excluding Shinsegae and Seo Jae-min, and adding Park Joon-young and Jang Seok-hoon. In the 14th minute of the second half, Seoul E-Land FC, which overcame the opponent's free-kick attack crisis well, found a way out with Jang Seok-hoon and Byun Kyung-joon alternating threatening shots from the left and right sides. However, in the 24th minute of the second half, Kim Byung-oh allowed a left-footed mid-range shot in front of the arc, giving up the first goal. In the 36th minute, Seoul E-Land FC, which cleared the line, scored a valuable equalizer by Kim Gyeol, who was replaced. Kim Gyeol brought the game to square one by connecting Hwang Tae-hyun's ball from the right with a calm right-footed shot from the gate. In the 48th minute of the second half, Seoul E-Land FC, which gained momentum, Jang Seok-hoon attempted a powerful left-footed shot in front of the arc, but the game was extended as it came out of the net. Both teams failed to score even in the first and second half of extra time, and eventually went on a shootout. Seoul E-Land FC replaced goalkeeper Um Ye-hoon. Seoul E-Land FC finished the match by beating Daejeon Korail 5-3 who missed the second kick with all five kickers calmly shooting in the penalty shootout.

North Korea and Japan, which was scheduled to be held in Pyongyang, was officially canceled due to North Korea's sudden notification that it would not be held

FIFA said on the 24th (Korea Standard Time) that "North Korea is canceling the game because it cannot prepare an alternative venue and there is no room to change the schedule due to the postponement of the game." As a result, FIFA referred North Korea to the disciplinary committee and confirmed that Japan's 3-0 forfeiture victory in the Pyongyang away game. Originally, the preliminary round was scheduled to take place at Kim Il Sung Stadium in Pyongyang on Wednesday. However, just six days before the match, the North unilaterally informed the North that it would be impossible to play in Pyongyang, citing "inevitable circumstances." Then, the North informed the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) that it would be necessary to change the venue to a neutral one, not Pyongyang. AFC announced the cancellation on its website on the 22nd and said, "It will be referred to the FIFA-related committee and further updates will be released in due course." North Korea did not give a clear reason, but Japan sees it as a quarantine measure by North Korea due to streptococcal toxic shock syndrome (STSS), which has recently increased the number of infections. This is not the first time that the North has caused inconvenience to the international community. The North was scheduled to play its home match against Japan in the final preliminary round of Asia for the 2024 Paris Olympics, but had a showdown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, right before the match, announcing that the North would not be able to host the event. Meanwhile, Japan won the match against North Korea 1-0 at its home turf on the 21st, winning all three games in the group stage. North Korea is third in the group after Syria (four points), with only one win and two losses (3 points). In the second qualifying round, the second place in the group will be given a chance to advance to the third qualifying round. North Korea is scheduled to play its home games against Syria and Myanmar in June. <https://www.totositenet.com/>

Show respect for Ryu Hyun-jin, and the winning team LG's dignity

The opening game of the 2024 KBO League was held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on Sunday. It was a big match between LG, which won the Korean Series title for the first time in 29 years last year, and Ryu Hyun-jin, who returned to the Korean pro league for the first time in 12 years, as the starting pitcher. Since Ryu returned to Hanwha in late February with the highest-ever contract worth 17 billion won for eight years, interest in Ryu has been high during the spring camp and exhibition games. Finally, the opening game. Ryu has taken the mound in the KBO League regular season for the first time in 4,188 days since the game against the Nexen Heroes in Daejeon on Oct. 4, 2012. In the bottom of the first inning, LG's No. 1 hitter Park Hae-min took off his helmet and bowed to Ryu Hyun-jin on the mound. After the game, Park explained his behavior. "Actually, our players thought a lot about it. What should I do?" (captain) Ji-hwan, Hyun-soo and Dong-won talked about it, but since they came back from shining Korea, I was the leadoff hitter, and I decided to greet them, and the rest of the players applauded. I am really grateful that they shone for our country. With this respect, all of our players talked together and I came to greet them." It was not the end with Park Hae-min's greeting in the first inning. Even a foreign hitter showed respect to Ryu. Austin Dean, a foreign hitter who took off his helmet as the first batter in the second inning, greeted Ryu with a big smile. Austin is well aware of Ryu's reputation as a big league player. Honorable manners. LG hitters, who greeted Ryu with a gracious welcome, bullied him and even gave him a bitter experience of losing the opening game. In the second inning, with two outs and a runner on the first base, LG created a chance to load the bases with Park Dong-won's hit to the left and Moon Sung-joo's infield single to the shortstop, and Shin Min-jae hit a timely two-run game to give Ryu his first run. When the game was tying 2-2, an error by the opponent team's second baseman made a catch error, creating a chance for the first and third bases. Park took off his helmet and greeted others in the first inning, and hit the finishing hit with a timely hit. It was a timely hit to make up for his poor hitting twice in the first and second innings. Afterwards, Park stole the second base to make it to second and third base with two outs, and Hong Chang-ki threw a KO punch at Ryu with a timely two-run shot. Ryu was also hit by Kim Hyun-soo, who was eventually forced to leave the team early. During the three ⅔ innings, Ryu gave six hits, three walks and five runs (two earned), making him a losing pitcher. Top hitter Park Hae-min hit a finishing hit against Ryu, making two hits, one RBI, one run and three steals from four times at bat. After the game, Park said, "His ball control is so good that he throws it towards the edge of the borderline is amazing. Not only fast balls but also curves and sliders. When I saw left-handed pitchers throw changeups to left-handed batters, I felt that he was an amazing pitcher." Park Hae-min, who made a timely hit by hitting his first fastball in the fourth inning, said, "I prepared for this (third at-bat) because I didn't throw any fastballs at the second at-bat. And since I saw breaking balls in the front at-bat, I hope I don't miss fastballs. As I had good ball control, I thought it would be disadvantageous if the count was concentrated, so I proactively targeted the ball, which is a good result." In 2006, Ryu joined the Hanwha Eagles in the second round (second overall) in the rookie draft. In his first year since his debut, he won the Triple Crown in three categories: multiple wins (18 wins), earned run average (2.23) and strikeouts (204), winning both the MVP and the Rookie of the Year award at the same time. The nickname "monster" suited him well, and he conquered the KBO league and became the best pitcher in Korea. He played in the KBO League for seven seasons until 2012, recording 98 wins, 52 losses, one save and a 2.80 ERA in 190 games. After the end of the 2012 season, Ryu entered the U.S. through the posting system. The Los Angeles Dodgers bid 25.737,737 U.S. dollars for the posting money to win the bid. Ryu entered the big league with a six-year contract worth 36 million dollars. In his first year in the big league in 2013, Ryu had an impressive 14 wins and eight losses with a 3.00 ERA and ranked fourth in the National League Rookie of the Year voting. In 2014, he continued his career with 14 wins and seven losses and a 3.38 ERA. However, the first ordeal came. Ryu had surgery on his left shoulder joint and sequin before the 2015 season. Having shoulder surgery with low probability of success in rehabilitation, he endured more than a year of rehabilitation programs. He made a comeback to the game in July 2016, but underwent arthroscopic surgery on his elbow in September 2016. Ryu Hyun-jin had his best year in 2019 by signing a one-year contract with the Dodgers. In 29 games, he pitched 14-5 with a 2.32 ERA, ranking first in the National League. He was named an All-Star for the first time, and pitched as a starting pitcher in the National League in the All-Star Game. He was selected second in the Cy Young Award voting. Ryu Hyun-jin, who became a free agent, successfully signed a four-year, $80 million free agent contract with Toronto ahead of the 2020 season. In 2020, when he played a shortened season due to COVID-19, he recorded 5 wins and 2 losses with a 2.69 ERA in 12 games, ranking third in the Cy Young Award vote in the American League. In 2021, he recorded 14 wins and 10 losses with a 4.37 ERA in 31 games, his fourth 14-win season in the big league. However, he underwent Tommy John surgery in June 2022. After rehabilitation, he returned to the big league in August last year. He finished the 2023 season with three wins, three losses and a 3.46 ERA in 11 games (52 innings). After becoming a free agent again after the season, Ryu decided to return to his former team Hanwha Eagles after agonizing over staying in the big league. The Hanwha Eagles gave Ryu the highest contract ever worth 17 billion won for eight years in the KBO. In 186 games (1,055.1 innings) in the big league, Ryu had 78 wins, 48 losses, one save and an ERA of 3.27. <https://www.totositesafe.com/>

Thailand wins 'dramatic draw with South Korea

Thai players, who drew with South Korea, even take bonuses. The Korean national soccer team, led by interim coach Hwang Seon-hong, tied with Thailand, ranked 101st in FIFA, at the third Group C match of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 North-Central America World Cup, which took place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium at 8 p.m. on Sunday. South Korea maintained its lead in the group with two wins and one draw. For Korea, the draw was almost like a loss. Korea failed to keep Son's opening goal of the 42nd minute in the first half, allowing an equalizer in the 16th minute of the second half. Korea pushed Thailand throughout the match, but the winning goal that was expected was not scored. Thailand performed better than expected. It was no longer a level to ignore Southeast Asian soccer. Rather, Thailand was superior to Korea, which only trained for one day. Thailand thoroughly planned and implemented what kind of soccer it would play. There was another reason why Thai players worked so hard. "Madam Fang," said Nualfan Ramsam, the 58-year-old head of the Thai Football Association, is betting 4 million baht on Thailand's victory over South Korea. He announced a bonus of 1 million baht (36.6 million won) just when the team tied with South Korea. "Thai players will return to Bangkok after receiving 1 million baht." Regardless of the amount of money, it is important to know that it motivated Thai players to play hard. The soccer ball is round. Higher salaries of Korean players do not necessarily guarantee victory. Nualfan Ramsam, president of the Thai Football Association, is a noble tycoon who is the CEO of Moong Thai Life Insurance, a large Thai company. Forbes, an American business magazine, named Ramsam as one of the 25 most influential female companies in Asia in 2020. The Ramsammun is the 27th richest man in Thailand. She is well-known for her immense love of soccer, as she has served as the owner of Port FC. In fact, you can easily see the advertisements in which she appears in Thailand. "If we win, we will give you 20 million baht (about 700 million won) in prize money as well as luxury goods, Rolex watches, and iPhone," Ramsam declared in order to beat Vietnam led by coach Park Hang-seo at the 2022 Southeast Asian World Cup. Thanks to this, Thailand beat its archrival Vietnam. "My dream is for Thailand to advance to the World Cup finals someday just like Korea and Japan," he said, displaying his immense love for soccer. Now, Korea is in a position to invade Thailand's enemy camp. We cannot let our guard down in Southeast Asia, where there are many variables. Korea could not beat Thailand in Seoul, either [슬롯사이트](https://www.slotplayground.com)

Late Blooming Flower

Joo Min-gyu, who participated in the mixed zone interview after the game. Joo Min-kyu (34, Ulsan HD), the "oldest Taegeuk mark ever," smiled and expressed his extraordinary feelings about the "highest age" title. The Korean national soccer team, led by interim coach Hwang Sun-hong, tied 1-1 with Thailand in the third Group C match of the "2026 North-Central America World Cup Asian Qualifier" held at Sangam World Cup Stadium in Seoul at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Joo started as a forward striker and played on the field until he was replaced by Hong at 19th minute in the second half. Regardless of the results of the match, Joo has set a new record of "the oldest A-match debut ever" (33 years and 343 days). He is more than a year apart from the previous record of Han Chang-hwa (32 years and 168 days) in 1954. Earlier, Joo was selected as the member of the Korean national team at the age of 333 days and became the youngest member of the A-match team. What is the feeling of Joo Min-gyu, who is constantly breaking the record of the oldest? "I'm only 33 years old, but now that I'm the oldest, I feel like I'm 40 years old," said Joo Min-gyu after the match at the mixed zone. "But doesn't the title of the oldest mean that I'm the first place in that category? I think I'm in a good mood." [메이저사이트](https://www.cmriindia.org/esports-betting-site) Min-gyu is breaking through. Joo must have felt different when he was listed on the first starting lineup and the audience shouted his name. "I thought many fans would come," said Joo. "I was more adrenaline-like and excited to hear the fans' support." "At first, I played a role in tying up the opponent's defense in the offensive end. After that, I tried to come down a little bit and give Son Heung-min or Jung Woo-young the front-line space," Joo said. "It was a role I wanted and my favorite play, so I think we hit it off well." When asked how he felt about playing with Son for the first time, Joo replied, "He is not a player that I can evaluate. He is a really good player. If he matches well, he can help Son score. He could get help again." Do you have any ambition other than the first time as a member of the national team? "I think it would be better to play in the second game than in the first game. Personally, I don't think I was nervous, but I think I was in a lot of energy," Joo said. "If I participate in the game on June 26, I want to show my fans my talent." Joo Min-kyu congratulates Son Heung-min. "If I won today, I want to give myself a high score. However, I don't think I can give myself that big a score because I drew a tie. Today (21st) is 50 out of 100 points. Since this is my first time playing in the tournament, I will aim for my debut goal in the next game." Fans congratulated Cho on his selection as a member of the national team by sending a message to Joo Min-gyu, saying, "The late bloomers are beautiful." "The fans cheered for me more and said many good things than I did. The fans account for the largest portion of the selection of the national team," Cho said. "I will do my best not to become a fan in the stadium. I will also run in the next game."

Hahm Woo Ham, tied for 45th place in Porsche Singapore Classic 1R

Ham Sung-woo, winner of the 2023 Korea Professional Golfers' (KPGA) Tour Genesis Grand Prize, got off to a flying start at the DP World Tour Porsche Singapore Classic (total prize money of $2.5 million). In the first round of the tournament, which took place at Laguna National Golf Resort Club (par 72, 7420 yards) in Singapore on Sunday, Ham posted 2-under 70 with four birdies and two bogeys. The first-round lead was shared by three players: Kiradek Afibarnrat (Thailand), Garvin Green (Malaysia) and Jordan Smith (England), who shot an 8-under 64. Afibarnrat swept nine birdies and added one bogey, while Green recorded one eagle, seven birdies, and one bogey. Smith showed off his perfect play by making one eagle and six birdies. Kang Sung-hoon recorded five birdies, two bogeys, and two quadruple bogeys, falling to a tie for 127th (5-over-par 77). <https://www.totositeweb.top/>
